After graduating in Sculpture, Ana Quintans studied music at the Lisbon Conservatory and in the Flanders Operastudio in Gent.
Devoting most of her work to the music of XVII and XVIII centuries, she performs with the most acclaimed baroque orchestras as Les Arts Florissants; Les Musiciens du Louvre; Gli Angeli Genève; Ensemble Pygmalion; Il Pomo d‘Oro; Le Poème Harmonique; Os Músicos do Tejo; Cappella Mediterranea; Complesso Barocco; Nereydas; Al Ayre Español; Divino Sospiro; Orchestra La Scintilla; Helsinki baroque Orchestra; Real Câmara; Concerto de’ Cavalieri; La Chapelle Harmonique and Ensemble Bonne Corde.
